Where's My Data?, you ask.

Well, it's probably scattered all over your hard drive. This is done to confuse you. Well, not really. It just happens that way if you accept the defaults suggested by most applications.

No business can effectively allocate backup resources without understanding exactly what needs to be backed up. First and foremost, irreplaceable data such as client contacts, records, or any other information whose loss could undermine your company's ability to exist must be backed up in a timely fashion, regularly, and to multiple locations. Good luck with that if you let Microsoft determine the location of your data.
